Anticlan is a formation that seems to draw inspiration from so many sources that it usually sounds very individual. A post-jazz saxophone, a guitar with a hundred faces that feels as good in jazz phrasing as in ultra-rock psychedelia, and finally massive drumming, strongly embedded in a rhythmic, rock convention, but always capable of the most breakneck stylistic figures. Their first album was dripping with fiery psychedelia, the second took a step towards post-jazz, and the latest one seems to connect both of the existing threads with a beautiful knot of consistency.
